Celia Naples was drawn to the very first HeartSpace service in 2012 and has been a part of the community ever since. She is a member of the Core Council and serves as platform assistant during services. Celia believes in the unique mission of Heartspace and wants to do all she can to see that mission fulfilled. She is drawn to leadership making her work at HeartSpace a natural fit. She is grateful that our minister, Chris, has an innate ability to recognize people’s gifts and talents and finding ways to use them. Celia is a Certified Holistic Health Coach who guides people to achieve their optimal health through lifestyle change. She is an aspiring writer, and besides her volunteer work with HeartSpace, Celia is also the head of the Little Forest Hills Neighborhood’s 4th of July annual parade and picnic. She believes that everything we need we already have inside us. “If I’m willing to have faith and take the leap there’s always a solid place to land and move forward.” Celia and her husband James have been married for 35 years and have 3 grown children. She loves to feed people, and to find the hidden things in life, whether it’s the thread of a story or observing the mysteries of nature. She is a native of Fort Worth and is convinced that her grandmother rolls over in her grave every time Celia admits to living in Dallas.
