On this UnSunday 1/13, we’ll watch a hilarious video short about our shared humanity and dialog about self-compassion as we learn and grow. Join us for mimosas and coffee at 10:45 am with discussion beginning at 11 every second Sunday of the month for a new HeartSpace experience.

Join our member Celia Naples, CHC Tuesdays in January for the Ready Set Go program. This fun, inspiring and interactive holistic program combines the elements you need to achieve your health and life goals for 2019. The Ready Set Go program includes three classes with food tastings, education, interactive learning, action plans, and an interactive private Facebook group. Establishing a new self-care program is the best gift you can give yourself. Right now it’s a two-for-one price so you can buy one and bring a friend for free. COST: $179 Register by calling the office 972.930.0260 or emailing celia@livingwelldallas.com, or Gabrielle Grandell, BSc, FMCHC, NBC–HWC at gabrielle@livingwelldallas.com. 6:30PM – 8:00PM on Tuesday evenings January 8, 15 and 29.

Foundations is the class that starts the adventure. Join fellow travelers for this 10-week free class and become immersed in self-discovery and revelation within an experiential format of discussion, lecture, sharing and process. Learn it, embody it, and watch your life change from the inside out. As the name implies, this class explores the basis, or foundation, of the Science of Mind movement, which is now called the Centers for Spiritual Living. Although this class series is offered at other venues for $285, we want to open it to everyone who wants to take the class, so we offer it at no cost. However, love offerings will be gratefully accepted. The class is from 7-9:30 pm Thursdays January 17-March 21 in the Richardson area. Please email reachout@heartspacedallas.org with your name and phone number to reserve your spot.

What do you want? We’re planning our 2019 education offerings and want to know what classes you’d like. Please take this very short survey to let us know what kinds of classes interest you. Thank you. //www.surveymonkey.com/r/9L96RG7

The holidays are a beautiful time of family, friends and gifts of all kinds. Except when they’re not. Loss, illness and absence can create a painful experience, especially in contrast to the joy of the season. Our Blue Christmas ritual is our most requested and highest attended service of the year. If you are a person who struggles with the holidays, please come. If you are a person who loves the holidays, please come hold space for those who don’t feel their own light or the light of the season. Join us Sunday, Dec. 9 at 10:45 am to start with mimosas, tea and coffee, and then, at 11:00, we’ll begin this unique UnSunday experience (our new non-churchy format on the second Sunday of each month).

This year for our holiday service project, our community has adopted a mother and her four children (ages 3, 4, 5 and 9) at The Family Place. We’ve listed each item on their wish list on cards for you to choose one, or several items to give. The cards are on the front desk on Sundays, and if you’re not around to pick one up, but you would like to help, email reachout@heartspacedallas.org, and we’ll let you know what’s on the list. They are also accepting Walmart gift cards for groceries. Please bring your unwrapped items back by December 16.

One of Santa’s Elves will help children in YouthSpace (ages 4-11) create gifts for their family and friends during our 11 am Sunday experience on both Sunday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 16.

Join us for our Holiday Brunch at 11 am on December 30 to celebrate the holidays (and/or the end of them). Because it’s a 5th Sunday, there’s no service that day, so we’ll eat, drink and be merry beginning at 11. As usual, we’ll provide the ham and you can bring a side dish. The signup sheet is at the front desk. We’ll have an OPTIONAL pass-it-on gift exchange. It will be after Christmas, so if you receive a gift that’ll just gather dust at your house, bring it to pass it on in the exchange.

This is one of our favorite rituals as we bless and release  the thoughts, circumstances and emotions that don’t serve us anymore from the year we’ve just completed and set our intentions for the brand new year. Join us at noon on New Year’s Day to share community, ritual, mimosas and coffee as we release 2018 and welcome 2019.
