On this month’s UnSunday, we’ll experience flowing and falling into good. The truth will set us free, but first it might make us mad. Life is hard sometimes but we often make it harder and make our good hard to access. Why why why must we struggle so, and what can be done to release the habit of struggle? In the words of Ralph Marston, “There are plenty of difficult obstacles in your path. Don’t allow yourself to become one of them.” Come participate in a process designed to open your heart and mind to a new way of being — flow. We’ll have mimosas and coffee starting at 10:45 am and then at 11, we’ll begin a whole new way to experience HeartSpace with UnSunday.

On this month’s UnSunday, we’ll be exploring the importance of purpose over powerlessness as we become allies in healing the planet. Sometimes when we hear “planetary distress,” we believe it’s a task way too big for one person to do anything to help. We are hearing the cry of Mother Earth but are so overwhelmed that we may not do anything. Our dialog will be based on the children’s book, “The Tantrum that Saved the World”, by climate scientist Michael Mann and illustrator Megan Herbert. Let’s jump into this topic and see that one person can indeed save a planet, one deed at a time. We’ll have mimosas and coffee starting at 10:45 am and then at 11, we’ll begin a whole new way to experience HeartSpace with UnSunday.

Our 5th Sunday Adventure once again takes us out of the Sunday Service and into the art studio where we’ll all learn how to paint while we sip wine/other beverages and munch snacks. There’s a teacher to show us how and all painting materials are provided. Bring your own drinks and come out to play with us! Sign up on front table or reply to this email. 11 am-1 pm Sunday 9/29 at Pinot’s Palette, Mockingbird @ Abrams in Dallas.

The demands on our attention in today’s world stretch our ability to express true compassion. Competition for our mind and heart space can distract us from realizing our best intentions.   Research shows that compassion can be learned and that practicing it benefits our health.  We all can learn better ways to benefit from self- compassion and act with intentional compassion.
Attend the September 14th  Compassion in Action:  APPlications in Today’s Times, Download, Install and Run the Right Apps in Your Life.” Conference.  Like the “APPs” we install to effectively manage our lives, the conference supplies “Apps” to help us to effectively practice compassion.

  • Learn ways to renew yourself from compassion fatigue and the stresses of caring and contributing
  • Gain deeper understanding of the meaning of compassion and its importance in our world
  • Hear Keynote Speaker Marilyn Turkovich, Executive Director of the Charter for Compassion

Fall Class Begins September 19

7-9 pm Thursdays, 9/19 – 10/24 in the Richardson area

This 6-week experiential class, based on the classic Eric Butterworth book Spiritual Economics, will assist you in fine-tuning your attitude about money, spirituality and prosperity. You will come to understand that prosperity has little relationship to the economic fluctuations of the world and everything to do with your beliefs and attitudes about yourself and money. The class is appropriate for both new and advanced students of metaphysics. $150 (work study available).

John Harold Moore presents The Family Constellations Workshop at HeartSpace from 1-4:30 pm on Saturday September 21. Family Constellations is an experiential workshop to gain insights and new perspectives about your own family dynamics and discover what might be holding you back from reaching your highest potential. Once we see the bigger picture and where the energy is stuck, we put things back in place and let the energy start moving again. The results can be life-changing.  Join us, even if you’ve attended the workshop previously, because you’ll get something different every time. You can sign up on the sheet at the front door, on our Facebook Event page or on our website. This workshop is being offered on a sliding scale of $30-50. Whatever you contribute will be greatly appreciated. John Harold Moore is a Life Coach, Family Constellations Facilitator, Speaker, A Course in Miracles Teacher, and graduate of the Family Constellations Institute of Miami. Find him on the web at JohnHaroldMoore.com.

On this month’s UnSunday, we’ll have a chat based on Brené Brown’s book Dare to Lead. Leadership isn’t something out there, something another person does. We all lead, and we can infuse our leading with our spiritual authenticity. Join us for an inspired dialog about the pillars of daring leadership and an exploration of how each of us can step into it. We’ll have mimosas and coffee starting at 10:45 am and then at 11, we’ll begin a whole new way to experience HeartSpace with UnSunday.
