Anger and fear are appropriate emotions at times, but can be harmful if they arise from our chronic patterns…judging everyone and everything, worrying about things we can’t change, fearing never having or being enough. But you don’t have to continue this way. Practicing gratitude is not a reaction to something; it’s the cause of a new way to live.
When you train yourself to stop, identify, and be fully present to even one thing you are truly grateful for, then you are brought back to the present moment. That is where true peace and power live. Gratitude makes you feel good right here and now for all that you are and all that you have. An attitude of gratitude brings you peace and overflows to those around you. This circle of peace grows and you will return to your natural state of joy, love and peace, knowing you are whole and complete just as you are.
